COMBINING SWISS PRECISION AND cypriot EXCITEMENT
Great travelers, the founders of opsi-jewels recognize themselves in a cosmopolitan vision of existence, which conveys strong and universal values: open-mindedness, empathy, tolerance, respect and generosity, with a pronounced appetite for exploration and discovery!

FROM THE MATTERHORN TO OLYMPUS
The meeting between Antigone, a Cypriot designer, and Alexandre, a Swiss gemologist, produced the spark that started the opsi-jewels adventure.
Inspired by the history and the picturesque and maritime nature of her island, Antigone delivers a colorful and lively vision that she embodies in the form of jewelry typical of her culture; Alexandre adorns them with fine and precious gems, and ensures entirely Swiss artisanal manufacturing; with his long experience in the field of fine watchmaking, he aims for nothing less than a perfect choice of gems and a level of finishing. Drawing its inspiration from the treasures of the South and Swiss know-how, opsi-jewels tells you a colorful story, full of gems and sparkles.

Antigone
Antigone was born in Cyprus where she grew up, before pursuing an international career in the world of fine perfumery and major luxury houses. Inspired by this world and drawing on the traditions and colorful culture of Cyprus, Antigone, passionate about her native culture, has always created alongside her professional activity, until she decided to focus more specifically on jewelry creation, a mode of expression in which she found herself entirely. It was then that, exploring the means to realize her project, Antigone found another enthusiast, Alexandre, whose expertise in Gemology and experience in jewelry complemented her expectations. Antigone was thus able to give free rein to her imagination and her sense of color to develop sublime collections, inspired by the Mediterranean, and designed to bring you freshness and elegance, while being in keeping with the times, with high-quality objects and an eco-responsible approach.
Alexandre
Founder and manager of precious stone trading companies for several years in Mumbai, Bangkok, Antwerp and Neuchâtel, Alexandre participated in the supply of stones to the biggest players in the Swiss watch and jewelry industry. Former director of several Swiss subsidiaries of large international diamond companies “DTC Sightholders” (contractors of the South African mining giant De Beers), he still works as a diamond cutter and quality control expert in diamond cutting factories in Asia to train Quality Managers, chief sorters and intervene in the cutting process in order to optimize quality. Immersed in the world of gems, Alexandre has naturally always dreamed of using his experience as a gemologist of more than 25 years to create jewelry collections with which he could identify, and it is with the meeting with the Cypriot designer Antigone that this dream was able to come true.
